1 of 1 Custom Orange Vintage Nighstand Featuring a Vintage Shreveport Map

Howdy GadgetSponge fans!  Thanks for your continued support.

Tonight I present the latest release from the GadgetSponge Garage.  It started as a nice Cavalier vintage nightstand.  Good bones and great features.  I brought to the table lots of elbow grease and a spoonful of GadgetSponge distressing magic.

The vintage map was provided by my buddy Wayne and is from the 1930s.  It's got great color and was just barely hanging on to its bits and pieces.

The fold-out door is a great stand alone feature.  This would make a great bedside table, a phone table or, I'm sure, many others purposes.

Shreveport - born and raised!

This custom item, along with my other creations, is available in the GadgetSponge Etsy Shop and at Timeline Antiques in Shreveport, LA!

Fabulous! I love that little pull out door and the very creative use of the maps!

Thanks so much Robin! I really wish I could find more interesting, small nightstands like this.
