Red Winged Blackbirds

The other day I heard a lot of noise up above and pecans raining down without much wind to encourage them.  I saw that a big group of red winged blackbirds were moving around from tree to tree to see what there was to eat.  They knocked out a good many pecans before settling on the fruit of another tree.  Beautiful birds.  It's too bad we can't enjoy all that red underwing that we see when they're in flight.
