Repurposed Upcycled Vintage Water Ski & Flashlight Table Lamp with Storage

Howdy folks!  I'm still on an all-consuming journey on how I can continue to reuse all the vintage, wooden water skis I have.  I've still got another couple of ideas I'm wrapping up and willl show you very soon.  But for right now, here's the latest!........

I had a blast making this one-of-a-kind custom lamp.  It started with two great water skis that all had the same style and arch up top to make the sides and a really classic water ski with worn out white and red paint lines.  It even had the word "CUSTOM" that I incorporated into the bottom board.

I don't know why but I knew I wanted this really tall retro, chrome flashlight to be the center of the lamp.  And below is a great place to store things away like a jar of small items, or the remote controls, home phone or just about anything that would be nice to have for quick access.

And, you know that I have to incorporate old measuring sticks or yardsticks whenever I can.  They go with everything!

Up above the flashlight I used some vintage colored wooden building blocks for an extra bit of character. The worn and aged surface of the colors played into this piece perfectly.

The new, finely textured lamp shade played right into the whole vibe I was looking for.  Check it out or better yet BUY IT! and have the only one on the planet like this -- only from GadgetSponge.com!
